Calculating the Golden Ratio
Dr.Dobry’s #s for an example
a = Top-of-head (1) to chin (2) = 21 cm
b = Top-of-head (1) to pupil (3) = 12 cm
c = Pupil (3) to nosetip (4) = 5 cm
d = Pupil (3) to lip (5) = 7.3 cm
e = Width of nose (6 to 7) = 3 cm
f = Outside distance between eyes (8 to 9) = 9 cm
g = Width of head (10 to 11) = 13.5 cm
h = Hairline (12) to pupil (3) = 9 cm
i = Nosetip (4) to chin (2) = 6 cm
j = Lips (5) to chin (2) = 3.6 cm
k = Length of lips (13 to 14) = 1.2 cm
l = Nosetip (4) to lips (5) = 2.5 cm
Now, find the ratios. 1.62 is golden.
a/g = 1.55 cm (higher hairdo)
b/d = 1.64 cm
i/j = 1.66 cm
i/c = 1.2 cm (shorten nose)
e/l = 1.2 cm (shorten nose)
f/h = 1.0 cm (wider eyes, makeup)
k/e = 0.4 cm (fatter lips, shorten nose)
For Dr. Dobry, makeup & change in hair style can do a lot. Also Perlane in lips. Nose job too (not interested).
